Can You Plug etrailer Winch Into Socket in Truck

Can I plug in your winch in the socket on the Ford F150 located inside the bed? I am pulling a 17foot bass boat on trailer. I have been using the kit direct to the battery but trading trucks and would like to just plug into socket rather than re-wiring.

Hello Charlie,

Thank you for the question though no, neither the etrailer ATV Winch # e98988 or # e98989 is able to be plugged into the socket on your truck inside the bed. They do require being connected directly to a 12-volt battery.
