Can this winch e98988 work with a remote at all? The size and lift seems it will work well for a dingy winch.

However, with that being said, a similar winch model that includes a plug-in remote is the etrailer ATV Winch - Hawse Fairlead - 5,000 lbs # e98989. Like the # e98988, this model comes with a synthetic rope and has a similar dimension of 15-13/16" long x 4-5/8" wide x 4-3/4" tall.
