Im looking for a bike rack that fits above my truck box as I have a roll top cover and would like to have the bikes above that

We offer several types of truck bed bike racks including adjustable multi-bike types that attach between the bed rails (# S64702), simple single-bike fork-mount types that bolt onto the truck bed (# HRT970) and even a tailgate pad type that uses your tail gate to hold the bikes. All of these have in common a need for access to the truck bed and none will work with a tonneau cover (of any type - hard or soft) that is fully closed. If you'd like to carry bikes on your truck without interfering with the closed tonneau cover then your best option is either a hitch-mount bike rack or a roof rack with roof-mount bike racks. I've linked two articles on bike carriers that will be useful to you as you consider your preferences.
