Hello Ken,
I checked with the manufacturer, and the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-40 that fit your 2013 Toyota Tacoma are 5 inches tall. They will not make contact with the frame, there should be a bit of space between the spring and the frame.

Hey Ken, how did the 5-inch SumoSprings work out on your Tacoma? Did the small gap between the spring and frame look about right once you checked? Your feedback could really help others setting up the same truck.
