What Does A Trailer Hitch Installation Entail For 2025 Toyota Camry

Question:
Just bought a 2025 Camry. Ive installed hitches on several vehicles in the past - 2 Impalas, Taurus. Can you give me some idea of what the installation process involves. The hitch is strictly for a bicycle rack.

Hey Thomas,
There isn't currently a confirmed fitting trailer hitch made for the 2025 Toyota Camry yet so I can't exactly say what the installation process will entail. You will likely need to trim the heat shields and enlarge some holes in the frame in order to get the mounting hardware in place. The installation process really shouldn't take you more than an hour to complete. If you want to preorder the trailer hitch that will eventually be available for the 2025 Toyota Camry then you can with part # C94RV.

I looked under my 2025 Camry but there was nothing to see. The frame is hidden by a plastic shroud. But it looks like the exhaust would make installation next to impossible. I do have another vehicle I can use for hauling my bike on a hitch mounted rack, so I guess I will pass on the idea of installing one on the Camry. Thanks for your answer.
