Hey Mike,

The spacers are optional and just there to help level the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98912. You can dry fit the hitch without them and place a level on the receiver tube to see if you're good or with need to use them. In the attached video below Jake installed this on a 2024 and did not have to use them so you'll likely will not.
