Retracted Height of Bulldog # BD155033 A-Frame Trailer Jack

Question:
Is the retracted height measured from the bottom of A-frame mounting plate to the ground? I have a 2014 US Cargo Patriot Car Hauler Model PACX8520TA2 with a 7000 lb GVWR. The tongue height is 18inch fromt he ground to the bottom of the hitch. The original jack damaged is rated at 2000 lb lift and 3000 Lb support. Which jack woiuld you recommend to repalce the dmaged one?

The Bulldog # BD155033 has bottom of mounting bracket to bottom of inner tube dimension of 5-13/16 inches when the jack is fully retracted. Its 2000 lb lift capacity is more than enough to handle the tongue weight of your trailer.
