Question:

Your hitch C12169 is not recommended for CR-V Hybrid. I have a 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid. Is the only issue the hands-free tailgate sensor, which I dont have? I prefer an 1 1/4 hitch to a 2.

Yes Mike, it's a combination of the rear hatch sensors and some fascia that would need to be trimmed that make # C12169 not a fit for the Hybrid models, but if you don't have the kick sensors, then this might not be a big deal for you and should work fine.

I know you mentioned that you wanted a 1 1/4" hitch, but we do also have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13397 which is a confirmed fit on all of the 2024 Honda CR-V models, including the Hybrid. You could then use a hitch reducer # e63YR which would drop the hitch from 2" to 1 1/4".
