The etrailer Hard Tonneau Cover # e83DR for your 2024 Ford Ranger XLT 5' bed is going to sit approximately 1" above the bed rails. If you are wanting a flush cover check out the BAKFlip MX4 # BAK448332. It has an aluminum construction with a clean matte black finish.
