Equipment needed to set up 2023 Ford Ranger to flat tow. Have blue ox base plate and tow bar on our other vehicle. We also have portable RVI brake system. Any wiring and other parts needed?

Hey Lynn, welcome back. To flat tow your 2023 Ford Ranger with a Blue Ox tow bar you will need the following parts:
Base Plate Kit - etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit item # e84FV. This baseplate kit is custom fit and is compatible with Blue Ox tow bars. You will not need any adapters. The arms are removable.
Please note if your Ranger has tow hooks you will lose them installing a base plate kit for flat towing.
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267. This kit includes all of the wiring, diodes, connectors, and the 7-way to 6-way coiled cable. If you ended up keeping your 7-way cable you can purchase the rest of the parts separately:
Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit item # RM-152
RoadMaster 6-Wire Trailer Connector - item # RM-910030-7
Roadmaster Bent Electrical Socket Bracket item # RM-910030-5
Since your RVI is a portable one, you'll also need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps item # RM-9332. This will wire directly to your Ranger's battery and provide power for your braking system.
