Overall a great product, easy to follow instructions for the installation. One bolt hole on the driver's side inner plate was off slightly and had to be opened up to match the tow body but other than that a great and easy install.
More secure than the tow hooks they rep lace.

Great experience with eTrailer and my order. Ordered a baseplate kit and it was missing an item. Notified eTrailer and they immediately made it right and expedited the new kit the next day!! They kept in touch the whole time to make sure everything went well.
Blue Ox baseplate works great and while installation took a bit longer then I was hoping for, it all fit well and is very well built.
This is my second set of towbar brackets that I purchased from E trailer .The customer service was excellent.And all of the equipment was far above average compared to other things that I’ve seen on the market. Anything I needed for towing E trailer will be first on my list.My parts were ordered on a Sunday and we delivered the following Thursday halfway across the United States, great service!
I had my grandson, a mechanic, install the base plate kit on my 2022 Ford Ranger. It may have taken him an hour. We've towed it all summer, including 3 trips through the mountains in PA and upstate NY, with no problems whatever. The only thing I would caution others of is that you can't back up with a flat-tow vehicle behind you. I just happened to run across this warning on the Blue Ox website, happily, before I tried to do so.
Perfect Fit. I watched the video's that etrailer provides and decided to take on the install myself. Everything from the base plates, diode wiring kit, drop receiver and Blue Ox Tow bar went just as the video's showed.

The installation of the Blue Ox Base Kit- Removable Arms and accessories went well. I was extremely satisfied with ease of the hook-up procedure and how the motor home pulled the Ford Ranger. I would highly etrailer for one's RV needs and the fact that their YouTube videos were clear. precise and helpful. etrailer is awesome!
The product fit perfectly and your install video was right on.
Directions were poor. They are very general and not for my model per se. Also for $XXX+ they should have a welded nut on their bracelet to mount the front skid plate too. I had to cut the nut off my old tow hook.

the product received was just what the doctor ordered. This kit was needed to replace one side of the base plate that was damaged during a recent tow. What we found out, what our original install 6 years ago was improperly installed with only one (each) of the two side braces that were supposed to be installed. We have been very lucky!!! Thanks once again to etrailer for prompt receipt of the parts ordered. You guys are always my go to place to order.
I really like it once I finished installing it. I do suggest that it is best to have the vehicle up on a hoist to raise the work higher from the ground. My jack stands made it possible to install, but was very awkward to get my body into position to see the welded to wire nuts into the position required to thread onto the bolts.

2019 Ford Ranger baseplate worked and fitted fine for me. 73 yrs old took me a couple hours but took many breaks. Younger could do it less than hour I'm sure.
Also works fine with my Blue Ox tow bar.
