Hi Victoria; for your 2018 Highlander Hybrid I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. This brake controller is simple, reliable, and won't take up space in your vehicle. The main unit installs behind the dash so only the control knob is visible. You can also use the Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-002 to install the knob in a blank switch on the Highlander for a nice clean look. Brake controller installations aren't very complicated so it shouldn't be a problem for your local dealer.
