Question:
Ive watched almost all of your videos. I havent seen one with my situation. I am converting my 4-flat to a 7-blade round. The 12v battery on a Hybrid is in the rear of the vehicle. Can I just tap off that battery terminal? Is it best to install an in-line fuse, too? Thanks.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, you would just tie into the battery at the rear of your 2016 Toyota Highlander Hybrid with the 7-Way Wiring Harness # 22119 for the different circuits that need the constant 12V power. The fuses are required for the installation to protect the wiring from overheating which could cause a fire.
For mounting the 7-Way on the back of your Highlander I recommend the Mounting Brackets # 18138 and # C57202. These will allow you to mount the 7-way on the receiver hitch without having to drill into the hitch.
