Hey Krista,

So it's possible you can open the trunk/hatch on your vehicle with the Thule Apex XT Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # TH9025XT installed (with or without a bike mounted), but it really depends on a couple measurements, so I can't give you a straight yes or no answer.

The # TH9025XT measures 7-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the carrier. So what you'd need to do is measure from the center of the hitch pin hole and out 7-1/4 inches, then open up your truck or hatch to see if there will be interference.

If you have a yardstick or something like a broom, you can you can place that at the 7-1/4 inch mark and open your trunk to see if there will be interference.
