Recommended Replacement Gear For A Kwikee 25 Series RV Electric Step Assembly

My Kwikee Series 25 gear is stripping. I know I need to replace that but im trying to see if I also need to replace the arm that connects from the gear to the steps. See attached photo. Is it normal it to droop like that?

Hey Aaron,

To replace your Kwikee 25 Series sawtooth gear you'll need part # LC369354. As for the arm, the eyelets on the arm allow it to droop like you're seeing so that the gear can move back and forth without binding so it's not a cause for concern.

The Replacement Motor with Gear and Table for Kwikee 24 and 25 Series Electric RV Steps #LC369529 is the only way I can find Lippert offers the nylon supports for the Step Gear #LC369354.
