Replacement for 3-Steps on a 2010 Jayco Jay Flight Travel Trailer

Updated 05/06/2024 | Published 05/05/2024

Question:

I have a 2010 Jayco Jayflight travel trailer, and I need to replace the back steps, 24inch wide, 3 step. They are damaged beyond repair. The original steps used 2 attachment threads towards the outer edge of the trailer, one on each side, and had 2 riveted L-brackets on the steps that attached to the trailer I-beam. I cant seem to find a matching replacement step, they all seem to use 4 attachment threads instead of 2. And none that attach to the trailer I beam. Any suggestions?

Hey Scott, thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like you have a proprietary mounting system so I recommend starting from scratch and either mounting outside steps, like the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution # TLA8103, using the Outrigger Brackets # LC301704, or going with an inside-step system like the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 23-3/4" to 26-1/4" Wide Doorways # MR98RR.

If you can give me more information on your setup, like your entry height and the width of your doorway, I can give more of a tailored recommendation for you.
