Replacement Seal for a Lippert 12088 Seal

Question:

Looking for seal replacement for a 5200 lb Lippert axle seal. There have been problems recently with Lippert seals and wish to replace seals with a different brand. Lippert shows see link that the seal part 122088 for this axle is 2.25 ID and 3.376 OD, but does not show the width or thickness. These seals are either .375 or .438 in width, but cannot find any reference to what width is required or the specification on the Lippert seal 122088. Please let me know what seal would replace the Lippert 122088. Thanks.

The Lippert Seal part number 122088 that you referenced has the same dimensions of 2.25 inner and 3.376 outer diameter as the Grease Seals # 10-36 that you referenced so they should work well for you.

Seal width should not matter, the only important dimensions are inner and outer diameter.
