Is There a Replacement for a Trimark 030-0900 Door Latch

Question:

Good day, I want to replace my entrance door lock. Motorhome : Thor Mandalay 2004 Door lock actually : Trimark 030-0900 I check for the bauer BP-14, is it similar to Trimark ? Do you know if i can replace it with bauer model ? or any model that would fit ? Merci / Thanks

I contacted Trimark in regards to a replacement part for the Trimark 030-0900. 030-0900 is actually a series number not a specific part number. To find the part number you will need to take the interior handle completely off the unit. On the back side of it there will be a plate attached that is either black or gold in color. There will be a five digit number starting with 1 or 2 stamped on either the gold or black plate or on a rivet that holds a rod to that same plate.

If you want to provide me with that information once you have obtained it, I would be happy to help you find the correct replacement.

As far as the Bauer Products Rotary Latch # BA85FR is concerned. That Latch is actually designed for horse or utility trailers not motorhomes. While it could potentially work, it would depend on your cut out measurements and lock style but I can't say that it will work. Your best course of action will be to find the correct part number so we can make sure you get the proper replacement for your needs.
