Should Stromberg Carlson Motor LG-142178 be Replaced With Same Model

I am replacing my motor on my fifth wheel. The # is 142178, is this the best choice for my trailer or is there an upgrade? Thanks Scott.

Hey there Scott; I do recommend replacing your 142178 with the same option, the Replacement Motor for Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear # LG-142178.

There isn't going to be an upgrade for you that will be a better option.

The correct replacement for your 1-065-041012-01 motor is part #LC141893 from Lippert. Your original motor had a 7140 rpm speed. The Stromberg-Carlson #LG-196308 you specified has a 5430 rpm output, so it wouldn't be a good choice. You'll…
