The Lippert Components HD 6500-lbTuson 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Motor # LC196308 is intended for use with their heavy-duty 6500-pound-rated Tuson Landing Gear but it will also work on other Lippert/Venture powered landing gear. The standard replacement motor for the Venture landing gear is part # LG-142178. If you need the corresponding motor control switch for this use part # LG-145236.

The correct replacement for your 1-065-041012-01 motor is part #LC141893 from Lippert. Your original motor had a 7140 rpm speed. The Stromberg-Carlson #LG-196308 you specified has a 5430 rpm output, so it wouldn't be a good choice. You'll…

Hey there Scott; I do recommend replacing your 142178 with the same option, the Replacement Motor for Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear #LG-142178. There isn't going to be an upgrade for you that will be a better option.
