Updated 04/16/2024 | Published 04/07/2024

Question:

Hey Micah, the most similar trailer tire size to what you have now that's going to be significantly wider would be the 205/65-10 like the part # AM3H490 for if you have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern or the part # AM3H460 for if you have a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern.

These are going to be about 8 inches wide and have an 87 mph speed rating.

thanks for this. I want to double check on some stuff: The current wheels are 12 in. the suggested ones ( part # AM3H490 ) is 10 in. Sound correct? You mention the new part would be 8in wide but the page for the product states 6 in wide. Can you double check on this stuff for me before I purchase? Micah

@Micah Yes you are correct the wheel and tire I mentioned # AM3H490 is a smaller wheel diameter but the tire on it is about the same in overall diameter and the width is wider. The section width of the actual tire is 8.4 inches whereas the width of wheel is 6 inches.
