Question:

I have a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited. I need to confirm which hitch is the best fit and safest to be able to attach a vehicle dolly or trailer to tow another vehicle about 2000 miles.

The best hitch for your 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is going to be the Draw-Tite item # 24965. This hitch is custom fit for the hybrid models and bolts to your car with included hardware. It is the strongest and safest hitch available for your Sonata.

I have linked an installation video below to help you get it set up.

Since you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C59236 and the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.

What is the max towing capacity. Can I tow a Honda insight with this? It’s weight is 2730 lbs on a dolly or auto trailer?

@Bharat The hitch has a 2,000 lbs capacity but your Hybrid cars is probably lower then that. No, you can't tow a Honda Insight with it. Your car is too small.
