Will Thule Arcos Hitch Cargo Box Block License Plate of Vehicle

Question:
Im trying to decide between the Inno and Thule rear boxes. I know its easy, but i would prefer to not have to move licence plate around i plan to remove box when at destination, then put back on for drive home - so wont be on always. I know for the Inno - The top of the cargo box sits 22inch above the top of your hitch receiver. Can you tell me the same metric for the Thule?

Hey Blair, so when the Thule Arcos # TH25YE is installed in the hitch of your vehicle it will sit right at about 25 inches above the hitch opening. This is probably going to block your rear license plate but if you wanted to move the plate to the rear of the box you can do that or what I have found using hitch cargo carriers is that basically nobody really cares if the plate is blocked. But that could be different in your area.
