does the AS04 steps quick disconnect or are they a permanent type mount set up

Hey Barry,

The Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS04 come with a bracket that the top of the steps slip into, and then they can be removed before you leave the campgrounds - so they have a type of quick disconnect system in place.

If you wanted to keep the steps on your camper so it's one less thing you have to think about grabbing, then you'll want to get the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear # TLA7834 instead.

Would I need a 4 step or 5 step for a 1 ton chev

@BarryW What kind of entry height are we talking about? The 4-Step TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear # TLA7834 works with an entry height in the 31" - 42" range while the 5-Step alternative, part # TLA7835 works with an entry height in the 38-1/2" - 50" range. Let me know what entry height you have and I can find the correct steps for you if neither of these ranges matches for your truck.
