Blue Ox Baseplate For A 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

Question:
Hi, I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trail Hawk. I had confirmed with you that my base plate should be BX1128. My installer is saying that this is not the correct baseplate. He is saying this is not the correct base plate for the Trail Hawk. Ill upload a picture of what he is seeing once he pulled off the bumper. He is thinking it needs to be a full base bar/plate. Can you help?

Hey Lisa,
Per Blue Ox, the # BX1128 is a confirmed fit for a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. If there's something preventing the installer from completing the installation then I'd have him reach out to Blue Ox directly with photos so that they can see if there needs to be a design change or if he's just doing something wrong. I've ran into one-off issues myself so it's possible that you might have to switch but I would see what they say first before going through all the hassle of sending it back and switching out the setup.
