Question:

I am trying to see if the roadmaster or blue ox base plates and tow bar are a better fit for the 2015 jeep grande Cherokee with adaptive cruise? Also it seems like the roadmaster supplemental braking system called the even brake has to be installed where the blue ox patriot seems to have zero install? Please help me find the best system to be set up completely to flat tow

Both the Roadmaster and Blue Ox flat towing setups are excellent choices that would work well on your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. In my personal experience with both systems I prefer the Blue Ox setups. Our installers feel the same way. The removable portions of the base plate kits are a bit easier to take off, and the tow bars seem to operate smoother.

For a tow bar I would highly recommend the Blue Ox Avail part # BX7420. This tow bar is the easiest to connect and disconnect on level or unlevel terrain. This comes with safety cables as well.

For a base plate kit you would want the part # BX1128. This has been confirmed to fit your vehicle with adaptive cruise control.

For a plug-in lighting solution you would want the Hopkins # HM56203.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the two vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles. I attached an install video and installation instructions for this braking system for you to check out as well.
