Question:

Hi. Why does it state under the TECH TIP that Product not intended for GT models? I have a 2022 EV6 First Edition which is apart of the GT-Line - could you confirm if this hitch part # DT85GR will fit the 2022 EV6 First Edition? Thank you.

I have seen the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT85GR installed on the GT models of your 2022 Kia EV6. While I have never seen a 1st edition like yours fit with the receiver I see no reason why it will not fit since the 1st edition was a badged version of the first 1,500 EV6's produced for retail purchase. Our tech team added the not intended for GT models as there have been some instances where additional modification would have been required.

I recommend adding the 4-Way Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK65VR when you install the receiver. This will allow you to connect Auxiliary Lights # C53201 in the event your hitch mounted accessory impairs the view of your tail lights. It can also connect to the tail lights of small trailers you might tow.
