Question:
Hello, I am looking for a weight distribution hitch with 1,000 lb tongue weight rating with integrated sway control. The propane bracket is 24”-30” from the coupler and would be in the way for a bracket. I have included some photos. What options do I have for a weight distribution hitch?

Hey Rodney, appreciate the photo, it was really helpful, and we have exactly what you need here, which is the Chain Hangers # RP58305.
Weight distribution hitches that use brackets aren't going to work due to the placement of your propane tank, which is why the hangers are needed. These will bolt onto your trailer frame so the brackets for your propane tank won't interfere. The weight distribution system with sway control that you'll need to go along with it is the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # RP66084.
This is rated for loaded tongue weights between 600 lbs and 1,200 lbs so it's perfect for your 1,000 lb tongue weight. What you'll do is substitute the brackets on the Strait-Line with the chain hangers and you're set. The only other thing you'll need is the hitch ball, part # C40030.
