The Demco 7-Wire to 6-Wire Coiled Electrical Cord # DM9523054 you found is used to connect a tow vehicle to a vehicle being flat towed. It is not designed for a trailer with hydraulic surge brakes.
If you can tell me what surge brake actuator you have I can help you to determine if there is a Manual # DX94FR or Electric # T4748800 lockout which will prevent your trailer brakes from locking up when driving in reverse.
