Hello, I cant remember if I already asked this question or not. I have a 2024 BMW X5 eDrive 50e. No M-Sport package. Id like to get a Stealth Hitch installed, with the wiring harness and reprogramming. Ive spoken to three installers and while they will all do the hitch installation, no one wants to touch the wiring and reprogramming. If you help me find an installer, Ill buy everything through you I also need some Thule cross bars to boot. Thanks,

I do have some information for you that will be helpful, but as far as reprogramming your 2024 BMW X5, you will probably get the same answer from any installer that you contact. They can do the hitch and wiring but no reprogramming/computer stuff. The same will be true if you had it installed at our shop here in Missouri. We can absolutely install the Stealth Hitch # SH25VR and all of the included wiring, but we cannot reprogram anything.

If reprogramming is required, Stealth Hitch can provide this service remotely. This programming must be taken into account when planning the timing of the Stealth product install. The remote BMW programming needs to be scheduled approximately 1 week in advance. Arrangements can be made with Code My Car (585-496-4648). So, you can pick any installer that you prefer and schedule the reprogramming separately. All of this is detailed in the manufacturer instructions which I have linked below.
