Question:

I need to be able to tow a trailer with brakes using my 2023 Sorento so I'm looking for a complete setup. Need a hitch and the 7 pole connector. Anything else I need please let me know. I don't have the tow package I know that much. Can you help me with this?

Towing a trailer with brakes will require a hitch, wiring, brake controller, and a ball mount. For your 2023 Kia Sorento I recommend the following:

-Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C37RV

-T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK26FR

-Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7

-Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR

-etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches # 989900

The etrailer hitch is a Class III with a 2" receiver and a bolt-on installation. It features a matte black finish and comes with a lifetime warranty. The Tekonsha wiring harness will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. It is also required so you can upgrade to a 7-way using the # ETBC7.

The Liberty is a reliable brake controller that won't take up a lot of space. The main unit installs behind the dash so only the control knob is visible. The # RED69FR will also be required for installation. The etrailer Ball Mount Kit comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball along with a bag to store everything in.

I have attached some installation videos below for your reference.
