Replacement Converter for Progressive Dynamics PD9160A That is Lithium Compatible

I currently have this Pd-9160a converter. I bought 2 100a lithium 12v batteries to replace my lead acid batteries 2 in parallel. What is the easiest way to go on upgrading my converter? And are the new ones a converter/charger combo?

You would need to replace the converter you have now with one that is Lithium battery compatible since that's the battery style you have now and they charge at a higher voltage. For that we have the part # PD9160ALV which is a 60 amp converter/charger like what you have now that but it is lithium compatible.

If the fuses are good and there's still no power output it would be time for a new converter which we have an exact replacement with the part #PD9160A. The C version is not an updated version and is not one we carry.

Hey Phil, the correct 60 amp converter replacement that is Lithium compatible is the Progressive Dynamics part #PD79RR. This charges at the higher voltage required by lithium batteries.
