Converter Recommendation for 2 100-Amp Lithium Batteries in 5th Wheel

Question:

I’m wanting to put 2 100amh lithium batteries in my fifth wheeler. What converter do I need for my lithium batteries? My camper has A16264E0215058 converter in it now. It is a dual converter.

Hey John, an 80 amp converter with a lithium profile like the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD89RR. This will charge your batteries quickly assuming you have the wiring present for a converter this size already. What amp rated converter did you have before?

@JohnM Gotcha, what you would want actually is the replacement lower section part # PD4590CSV. This will convert your current converter panel to one that is compatible with lithium batteries.
