This hitch takes the stress out of maneuvering a short-bed setup. Its automatic slider gives you 18" of front-to-back travel every time you turn, so there’s no need to get out to move a manual slider. The head glides smoothly on low-friction plates and metal tubes, keeping motion clean and predictable while protecting your truck and trailer from cab contact.
Built for serious towing, this hitch is rated for 24,000 lbs gross towing weight and 6,000 lbs vertical load. The precisely laser-cut, wraparound single-hook jaw locks tight around the king pin to cut down on rattle and add security compared to slide-bar setups. You can lock it with a padlock (sold separately) for extra peace of mind when parked.
Hooking up is quick and simple thanks to a self-locking hitch plate that closes automatically once the king pin is in place. The dual-articulating head pivots front-to-back and side-to-side to make alignment easier on uneven ground and helps reduce chucking while towing. It’s a design that makes connecting and disconnecting more straightforward without wrestling the handle or worrying about binding.
This hitch drops right into factory prep package receivers using top-mounted mounting posts that secure it in place without tools or adapters. There’s no binding when removing it from the pucks, so clearing your bed for other use is fast and frustration-free. The black powder-coated and e-coated steel construction adds corrosion resistance for lasting durability, supported by a 5-year limited warranty.

Great hitch, make sure to go the pullrite superglide web site for the chart to see the correct capture plate to fit your pin box model….. very crucial pc to verify. Etrailer has been great for all parts.

I am a BIG fan of PullRite and the SuperGlide product. I bought this PUL28RR (2300 hitch with hardware for Ram HD factory bed prep). I installed it this weekend and it is definitely a two person job. My complaint with this setup is that unlike other SuperGlide hitches, there are tools required (3/4" wrench and 3/4" ratchet) if you want to temporarily remove the hitch to use the bed space. On top of that, the special brackets that fit the pre-formed slots in the Ram truck bed are "permanently" fastened because they utilize castle nuts and cotter pins to install them. The cotter pins are heavy duty and will require a great deal of strength to install and/or remove. I haven't towed with it yet but I'm positive it's more hitch than I need for my Montana High Country fifth wheel which is only about 14k pounds loaded. I appreciate the level of quality in the hitch, I just wish it were easier to remove the few times a year I need all of my truck bed.

Love the unit. Built well and looks amazing. The instructions was very instructional and simple. I installed the hitch in 30 minutes. That’s assembling the puck inserts and setting the unit in. I haven’t towed with it yet but looking forward to it.

Glad every thing was nice and easy, CAS! And nice pictures too! You ever think about photography? What kind of 5th wheel are you going to be towing?
My hitch arrived in perfect condition, The box wasn’t ripped or damaged at all The hitch was very easy to assemble everything for installation.
So far so good after multiple trips. It is heavy, I used a overhead winch to load it in the bed, but it is solid. I don't think about turning, near full 90 degree turns and you don't even notice its working, always had PullRite hitches, great products and etrailer had great pricing and shipping!
Works great in my new Ram 3500 mega cab short box.
Only problem was one of the bolts provided was not machined correctly. E trailer did offer me a refund for the bolt I had to purchase. Assembly and install was less than 2 hrs. Including the trip to the hardware store. Good job E trailer! Love your costumer service.

I've been pulling my 5th wheel around with this slider hitch for a year now and it has worked perfectly. It fit right into my truck and has not given me any problems. I recommend this hitch to anyone who has a short bed with pre-installed receivers for the hitch.
Eat your wheaties and call a friend before trying to install it! It’s a heavy beast but well made. It would be nice if Pullrite offered the 16k and 20k hitches with Ram prep towing set up for puck system without having to use a puck conversion rail. 24k is way overkill and expensive for 12k 5th wheel! With that said, I will never use a fixed 5th wheel hitch in a short bed PU again! The performance of the Super slide is outstanding and solid. Took it to a parking lot with the 5th wheel hooked up to test turns, turn radius, bed/tailgate/ sidewall clearances and it performs flawlessly!! Pleasantly surprised by the performance and expectations exceeded for clearance concerns. A trip down the interstate around town was solid and very stable. Very pleased with overall performance! Would highly recommend for anyone hauling with a 6 1/2 foot bed. It will save you the cost of body work and replacement of a rear window! Happy Trails!!
