Question:

Hi, I’m trying to replace a 6 lug brake axle on an older tandem axle dump trailer. The axle I’m trying to replace is 93” hub face to hub face and 78” from spring center to spring center. I was looking at trailer item # e35SR Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - Easy Grease - 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 95inch Long - 6,000 lbs.. Will this axle work for this trailer? Is there an axle that would be a better fit? Do you recommend using the axle for this trailer ? Thank you.

Technically yes, you can use the 95" hub face and 80" spring center Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # e35SR to replace your 93" hub face, 78" spring center axle. You would need to have new spring seats welded on though, part # TRSS300.
