Does Dometic Thermostat DMC79FR Have Bluetooth Compatibility

Question:

Does the thermostat you list actually the Bluetooth capable model? Please confirm actual item. I have ordered from other vendors claiming it is the Dometic CT Bluetooth and what they ship isn’t Bluetooth. I have returned theirs twice..

@Paul Do you have the Dometic CT Bluetooth app? Here's Dometics instructions: To connect to a Bluetooth® device from the Dometic CT Bluetooth app, choose ADD NEW CONNECTION. Press the POWER / MODE button on the CT Bluetooth thermostat until you reach OFF. Select your CT Bluetooth thermostat from the list that appears on the app and choose PAIR WITH SELECTED THERMOSTAT.

@JamesonC Thanks, I tried the above, but I think my 7 year old wall unit needs replacing. No response, and no more degrees F and C. Just a series of single digits between 1 and 9. It still gets the control box going and runs the roof unit. I plan to order a new wall unit. Appreciate your help!

@JamesonC Hello Thank you for reaching out to Dometic. Unfortunately, we do not offer the blue tooth thermostats any longer and the blue tooth are no longer available. These have been obsolete for some time. Nicole

Looking to replace my existing stat with blue tooth enabled. Have Dometic Brisk II. Can this be done? What do I need? That app says it’s for the Fresh Jet series. I now have a Dometic single zone stat with cool, furnace, and heat pump.

@TomM Yes the # DMC79FR will work for you as it is for Dometic units like what you have and it also has the Bluetooth capabilities like you are wanting as well. The app you need is the Dometic Climate app in your phones app store.
