I have a Dometic 3316410.012 three wire thermostat. Most of the time it does not work properly. Can you suggest a replacement for this thermostat that would work better? Thanks

Realistically it is best to stick with a Dometic replacement thermostat for your Dometic setup. The # DMC79FR is the correct replacement for your 3316410.012. It may be possible to use a universal thermostat like the # CAM09221 you looked at but this will only work if you have a single stage system. It also would not have the same functionality, LCD screen, and Bluetooth capability.
