As long as your 2022 Honda HR-V is capable of towing that much yes, the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7322 can handle it. The maximum gross trailer weight for this hitch is 2,000 lbs. The same is also true for the Draw-Tite # DT84YR you were looking at.

If you plan on towing you will also need wiring and a ball mount. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118673 plugs into the connection points in your rear cargo area. This is the most reliable option when it comes to wiring. This will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, check out the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554. This comes with a 2" ball, locking hitch pin, hitch cover, and a case for storage.
