I am looking for roof racks for a 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness that will support a Freespirit High Country 55 rooftop tent weight 135. Subaru will support 880 lb static. Could you suggest options?

Since you plan on using a roof tent, I suggest going with a Rhino Rack roof rack for your 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness. This is a well made, durable roof rack, which we often recommend for roof tent setups. The full roof rack system consists of the following parts.

The Vortex crossbars have a dynamic capacity of 165 lbs, so with your tent being around 135 lbs you will be good to go there. There is no static capacity listed for the crossbars. They can hold whatever your roof can hold. Knowing the roof has a static capacity of 880 definitely grants some peace of mind. Nonetheless we encourage you to keep the weight on the roof as low as possible at all times.
Also the Vortex bars will work with virtually any roof mounted accessory, whether it be a clamp on or channel mount. So if you ever need to carry anything else on your roof you will be ready to go. You can also add locks, to secure the crossbars to your roof with part # RRVA-LEC4.
