I'm sorry for the confusion Doug as this is a common issue with our fit guide with vehicles like your 2024 Subaru Outback. On the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MAL74AR you found we list both excluding Wilderness and Wilderness to say it will fit both you Wilderness and models which are not a Wilderness. We also have the wider 58" System # MAL84AR if you want a bar longer than the 50" bars in the system you found.
