What Type of B and W Gooseneck Ball Fits OEM Pucks of 2024 Ram 2500

Question:

This question asks whether BandW has an alternate peg for the Companion 5th wheel which normally has the square peg to slide into the turnover ball under bed mount. I have a 24 Ram 2500 6.5 bed with the 5th wheel and gooseneck prep. On a previous truck I used the BandW 5th wheel puck hitch in the hitch prep and an earlier truck and setup had the turnover ball set. I would like to find a used companion and replace the square peg and put on a round post compatible with the Ram prep package. Is this even possible? I will be doing very limited 5th wheel trailer moving with this setup. Thanks

There isn't a way to modify a Turnoverball style gooseneck hitch from B and W that was designed to accept the square shank balls to fit a round pop-in style that fits the OEM hitch pucks like what your 2024 Ram 2500 has. The good news is that you already have the pucks in your Ram so you could just use the part # BWGNXA2062.
