Question:
On our 2007 Chevrolet 2500 HD 6 1/2’ bed work truck we have one the flip down gooseneck ball hitch plates. It is a Atwood Mobile Products branded plate, 25,000 GVW or 5,000 lb tongue load. The only number that could be considered a part number or something is on the left side, appears to be 0864. I understand the company may not be in business so we need information regarding a bolt up replacement plate with the flip style ball so we don’t have to rebuild the under support structure if possible. The 4 bolt holes are 9 7/8” center to center with the plate being 12” x 14” and the ball oriented on the passenger side and 6” front and side to center. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Center Section # C-52 for the Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C61341-52 is very close to the measurements you provided. I have included an image with the measurements for this as the front to back mounting holes are 9-3/4" on center while the side to side bolts are 10" on center. As these measurements are only 1/8" different than what you found that would be roughly 1/16" for each hole so you may be able to use the plate.
Do understand it is a better idea to go ahead and replace the entire hitch as there is no way to ensure the condition of your current hardware.
