Is there a Difference Between a SoftStart and a Starting Capacitor

My new Furrion ac has a starting capacitor installed from the factory. Will a soft start help me at all?

No it will not, because the starting capacitor and the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR54FR are the same thing.
