Is The SoftStart RV Capacitor Enough To Allow a 15K BTU AC To Run Off Honda EU2000 Generator?

I have a 2010 dometic ac 15,000btu model # 57915751 which soft start do I need and will it work with my Honda eu 2000 watt gen? Thank you.

The SoftStartRV Soft Start # SSR54FR will work with your 2010 Dometic 57915.751 air conditioner. This will drop the amperage required to start your AC drastically. You will most likely still need to get the Honda EU companion generator to pair with your 2000 watt generator. This is due to the starting wattage for the Honda being 2000 watts while the running wattage is 1,600 watts. Your air conditioner will need more than this to run properly and you will most likely have other systems such as lights and chargers which will also be using power at the same time.
