Hi, Looking to buy a trailer hitch for my 2022 Mitsubishi outlander sel. I see you have one. Are they difficult to install. Thanks for your help.

Not really but it depends on your skill level. The hardest part of installing the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C87WR is going to be loosening the rubber pieces that attach the mufflers to the hangers. Other than that you'll just need a socket set to bolt the hitch on. The hitch weighs 29 lbs so you'll want to have someone help you hold it up while you install the bolts.

I have linked the instructions below so you can take a look at them and see if this is something you are comfortable tackling on your own.

The Curt Trailer Hitch item # C87WR is custom fit for the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander. It bolts to your vehicle with included hardware.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C43WR and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

I recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
