Question:

Does this fit Outback Wilderness? 2024 Will it reduce ground clearance overall? Does it require bumper removal? looks to be an easier install than the ones that do.. THANK YOU!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C69VV does fit the 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Ground clearance will be further reduced at the rear compared to other hitches for the Outback since it has a visible cross tube. Bumper removal is not required, but you will have to lower the exhaust as well as cut a hole in the heat shield.

The installation of a hitch like the # e25TR is more difficult but you will probably be happier with it in the end, especially since you only have to install the hitch once. This design has a concealed cross tube so only the receiver is hanging down at the back. This gives you better clearance and a much cleaner look. The etrailer hitch also has a matte black finish which matches the black trim on the Outback Wilderness.
