Question:

I just bought a towsmart hitch from there for a 2025 Subaru Outback and I was wondering by any chance if you would have instructions on how to install the hitch. Thank you for your help.

Hey Dennis, thanks for reaching out!

We have yet to install the Towsmart Trailer Hitch Receiver # TS34ZR, but it has a similar design to the Curt # C69VV, which we had a chance to install on a 2024 Outback Wagon. This will be the same as your 2025 model and I'm attaching the installation video (as well as a photo of the finished installation) for your reference.

Basically, you're going to drop the exhaust, trim the heat shield, and then raise the hitch in place. Install the hardware and then reverse the steps. This can definitely be done at home without a lift, but I do recommend backing your vehicle up on some service ramps or something like that. I've installed a hitch on my van in the same manner and it wasn't too bad.
