Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for Towing With 2023 GMC Terrain

Looking for a recommendation for a trailer hitch for my 2023 Terrain. I will be towing so if there is anything else I need please let me know. Thanks.

I recommend the etrailer # e59ZR for your 2023 GMC Terrain. This is a custom fit Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. What sets it apart from other options is the matte black powder coat finish. This gives it more of an OEM look and does a better job hiding dirt and scratches when compared to a glossy finish.

Since you will be towing you will also need wiring. If you have the factory tow package you need the # 118285 and if you don't have the tow package you can use the # C59496. Both will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.

In order to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
