Question:

I need a 2 hitch for a 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid. In looking at your products, it states that they are not compatible with the Hybrid vehicles. Which one is compatible with my Hybrid SUV?

I checked with our vendors and to add a hitch to a 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13397. This hitch fits all models of the 2023 CR-V including the hybrid. It is custom fit and bolts to your Honda with included hardware.

Please note that installing this hitch may limit or block the sensor that activates your rear lift gate function. This is a common problem amongst Honda SUV's. What typically happens is you will lose the function around the 2" receiver but once you move to the left or right of it you'll be able to find a zone where it works.

Honda also offers a sensor relocation part if necessary to address this issue. It is only available through a Honda dealership.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56370 if your CR-V is all-wheel drive or the item # C59236 if it is front wheel drive. and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
