Question:

I’m trying to pick a class IV hitch with a 2” and 2 5/16 balls. I am pulling an aluminum stock trailer and an aluminum 2 horse trailer. Trailers and horses approx 7000 lbs maximin.

Sounds like you are needing a ball mount. If you have a 2" hitch, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount item # BWTS10037B. This ball mount has both a 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball. It will give you a 5" drop or a 5-1/2" rise. The 2" ball has a 7,500 lbs capacity and the 2-5/16" ball mount has a 10,000 lbs capacity.

If you have a 2-1/2" hitch you'll want the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount item # BWTS20037B.

If your truck is lifted you will want the 2" B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount item # BWTS10040B or the 2-1/2" item # BWTS20040B. These give you a 7-1/2" drop.

If you also need a class IV hitch for your 2023 Ford F-150, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C26HR if your truck already has a hitch or item # 76136 if you don't have a factory hitch.
